The design brief for this house was to include the use of stack bonded block, blackened cedar and linea weatherboards. Also required was a central light well-water feature which has windows to an internal bathroom. The entry hall has a feature ply ceiling with concealed lighting and a large water feature at the end. The house gives a feeling of a holiday oasis in contrast to its urban surroundings.
